Business Administrative Assistant: Woodbury

At Globe University/Minnesota School of Business-Woodbury (GU/MSB), our Business Administrative Assistant diploma program prepares students for entry-level positions in different types of business organizations.   This program may be right for you if you like a variety of interesting duties and are looking for the opportunity to advance.  Call our Woodbury campus at 651-730-5100 or send us an e-mail to get started.  A representative will be happy to answer your questions, walk you through the admissions and enrollment processes and help you explore financial aid options.

Business professionals help design our program

Our diploma program was designed with the help of an advisory board that includes experienced business professionals.  They make sure that we include training in the skills and software requested by employers.  They also review the content of the program regularly to make sure we offer the most up-to-date curriculum.

Our graduates have many opportunities

Our graduates work in all types of organizations, from large corporations to government agencies.  They coordinate records and information, manage projects and ensure that their departments run smoothly.  They sometimes serve as receptionists and are often the first people visitors see.  They work in hospitals, educational organizations and law firms.  A business administrative assistant may have the chance to work part-time or job-share, making this career choice an appealing option for a parent or student.

We prepare you for advancement

After working for a while, some of our graduates enroll in associate’s degree programs, such as medical administrative assistant, accounting or business administration.  They find that the diploma program coursework transfers easily to many of our college degrees.  An associate’s degree prepares students for positions as executive secretaries or executive assistants. Other graduates of our program seek bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration or Business Management.  GU/MSB will accept your credits from the business administrative assistant diploma and apply them to your bachelor’s degree program.

Class schedules that meet your needs  – online, part-time, day or evening

Students are able to take all the classes for the business administrative assistant diploma online through the GU/MSB online program.  They can also create programs exclusively at Woodbury.  Another option is the hybrid program that is part online and part residential.  Students can also go to another campus of GU/MSB for classes not offered at Woodbury. We work with you to create a program that fits your schedule and your needs.

Call us at 651-730-5100 or send us an e-mail to get started on your future.  A representative will be happy to answer your questions about admissions, financial aid and enrollment.
