Business Management: Agriculture- Woodbury


The Business Management: Agriculture program at the Woodbury campus of Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) prepares students for exciting careers in agriculture - possible roles include the following:

  • Managers of agriculture business suppliers and support services including labor, farm equipment, fertilizer and seed, finance and agriculture management software
  • Managers of farms, ranches and large companies in the agribusiness sector
  • Consultants
  • Sales representatives
  • Commodities traders

The Business Management degree program with an agriculture emphasis

The agricultural emphasis coursework covers general business management topics for the first two years of the program. Some students meet these requirements by completing an associate’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting.

The 3rd and 4th years of the program allow you to focus on specific issues in agriculture business through classes such as the following:

  • Agricultural Finance
  • Cooperatives
  • Agricultural Markets and Pricing Commodities, Futures and Options
  • International Business
  • Entrepreneurship

Online option available - save time and money

The bachelor’s degree in Business Management: Agriculture can be completed at our Woodbury campus, online or by combining online and residential classes. This flexibility allows you to complete your classes on a schedule that works for you. Students studying online through GU/MSB can download lectures and participate in class discussions and projects via IM and message boards.  They can also take advantage of our Internet resource library.  They do all this while saving money on commuting and childcare.
