Education that lead to rewarding careers in the hospitality industry

Students in the Woodbury Bachelor of Business Management degree program spend the first two years in basic business administration courses, including accounting, business administration, business communications, computer information systems, small business management, business law, operations management, leadership, business ethics and marketing. Students often satisfy these requirements with  associate’s degrees in accounting or business administration. In addition, many receive college credit for previous education, training and work experience.

In the 3rd and 4th years of the program, students take classes that apply directly to hospitality management, including:

  • Hospitality Organization
  • Hospitality Industry Trends
  • Domestic and Global Hospitality Service Strategies
  • Casino and Gaming Operations
  • Food Service Management and Service Marketing

Students also take a capstone externship and use their business management knowledge on-site in the hospitality industry. They work with  experienced managers, gaining important practical experience and opportunities to build relationships with others in the field.
