Issues in human resources management
HR professionals daily grapple with questions such as:

- How can your company become more competitive in the industry or region?
- What training do managers and supervisors need to prevent discrimination and harassment lawsuits?
- What is your company’s responsibility when an employee leaves the business?
- How do you prepare employees for advancement?
- What are the state and federal laws that apply to your employees?
Small and large businesses need answers to HR questions
Large corporations are not the only businesses that need HR professionals. Small businesses also follow state and federal employment laws, hire new employees and provide needed training. Because our Human Resources management emphasis is part of a bachelor’s degree program in Business Management, our graduates are equally prepared to take their places in small businesses or national industries.
