Details about our Business Management bachelor’s degree program

Classes during the first two years of the program focus on basic business management topics, such as accounting, business communications, business law, and other subjects required of all students in the Business Management degree program. During the 3rd and 4th years, students study in their areas of emphasis; for students with a marketing emphasis, the coursework includes:

  • Finance
  • Marketing strategy
  • Advertising strategy
  • Entrepreneurship Consumer behavior
  • Advertising
  • Promotion
  • Internet marketing
  • Marketing research

In addition, students take an additional 19 credits of business electives and 55 general education credits.

Credit for previous education and experience

Students may obtain college credit for previous education, training, military service or work experience. We evaluate all requests for credit carefully so that you can complete your college degree as efficiently as possible.

Building on an associate’s degree in Sales & Marketing

The Sales & Marketing Management associate degree program prepares students for entry-level positions in sales, marketing and business management. That or another associates degree in business or accounting will satisfy requirements for the first two years of the Bachelor's in Business Management: Marketing.
