An administrative assistant program developed by legal professionals

Our legal administrative assistant program was designed by a legal science advisory board made up of attorneys, business leaders and paralegals. Your classes will provide the legal and clerical skills and knowledge you will need to succeed. Your course work will include Keyboarding, Legal Transcription and Business Communications. You will also be able to choose elective classes on subjects such as Criminal Law, Real Estate, Family Law and Tort Law. Many of the classes for your diploma program can be used for credit in our associate or bachelors’ degree paralegal programs.

Legal administrative assistant graduates have many options

The legal administrative assistant diploma program requires 67 credits and can take as little as 15 months to complete. Students are prepared for positions such as:

  • Corporate Legal Administrative Assistants
  • Litigation Assistants
  • Office Coordinators
  • Legal Secretaries
