Criminal Justice Faculty
Meet a few of the criminal justice faculty at GU/MSB-Woodbury:
John A. France, Program Dean
Before beginning his full-time teaching career, John held numerous positions with Hennepin County law enforcement and corrections. He was also a dockworker, an amunition plant worker and is a Vietnam-era veteran of the US Army. He is Minnesota POST licensed and holds an MA in Organizational Leadership from Bethel College and a BA from Metropolitan State University.
Scott Rudeen
Scott is a Minnesota state trooper and is Minnesota POST licensed. He is currently studying for a PhD in Education with an emphasis on youth violence. He also holds a master's degree in law enforcement management and a bachelor's degree in law enforcement. Before joining the Minnesota State Patrol, Scott was with Hennepin County and Washington County. He also worked in airport and private security.
