Adult learners
Our students include people who have been in the workplace for some time. These students often have families, jobs and commitments. Completing a two or four year degree program or career diploma can be challenging. We work with these students to develop the best possible ways to achieve their goals. For many, online education is a good option that allows them to complete class requirements on their schedules. Other students may be able to complete their college degrees or diplomas more quickly by transferring credits from other institutions, receiving credit for prior work experience or receiving credit for military training. Our representatives can advise you about your choices.
High school students
A high school student is often unsure about which career path to pursue. That’s why GU/MSB has representatives available to help you work through your options. Maybe a two-year degree program is the best choice for you right now. Maybe you’d like to get a diploma in massage therapy that will let you enter the field as soon as possible and later determine whether an associate’s degree later on might be the way to go. We have a number of scholarships for graduating seniors. Contact us and get a jump on your future.
Military students
We welcome military students and have developed a special program of support for veterans, current military personnel and their dependents. Throughout your studies and your career, you will be able to consult staff dedicated exclusively to serving military students. They will help you select a college program and help you apply for GI Education Benefits. We are a Globe Serviceman’s Opportunity College (SOC). Contact either Mike Hughes or Mike Blumberg, both of whom served 21 years of active duty in the U.S. Army.
Transfer students
Many of our students completed classes at other institutions before enrolling at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business. Some may have transcripts from military training they received while in the Army, Air Force, Coast Guard or Navy/Marines. We will evaluate any proposed transfer credits to see if they can be applied to your GU/MSB program. The credit evaluation process takes a number of factors into account, including the accreditation of the other institution, the number of credits proposed and whether the credits apply to the student’s current program. Let us show you how your previous educational experience may help you earn a four-year or two-year degree or a career diploma.
